Construction cleanup prepares completed areas for presentation and use. Fine dust, packaging, and residue can remain after renovation work, and the cleaning needs to be coordinated with any contractors still working on site.

Our post-construction cleaning services are planned around the completed work, surface materials, and handover schedule. We discuss the rooms and cleanup tasks before agreeing the visit.

Agree which debris is included

Packaging and leftover materials need a defined removal arrangement. The plan should identify what the cleaning team will handle, where it will be taken, and which waste remains the contractor’s responsibility.

Hazardous materials and specialist disposal require separate arrangements. They should not be assumed part of a general cleanup quote.

Remove dust from the agreed surfaces

Accessible ledges, windowsills, counters, shelving, and cabinet surfaces can need detailed attention after construction. The task list should distinguish exterior surfaces from cabinet or cupboard interiors.

Equipment, high ceilings, and difficult-to-reach areas need specific access and handling instructions. Cleaning external vent covers also needs to be distinguished from work inside a ventilation system.

Review floors, glass, and new finishes

Carpet, tile, wood, and stone need methods suited to the material and finish. Floor cleaning should be agreed with attention to any installation or product instructions supplied for the new surface.

Glass cleaning can include panes, frames, and sills within the quoted area. Paint, adhesive, or other residues need assessment before removal; a new finish should not be treated as interchangeable with every other surface.

Include restrooms and kitchens

Fixtures, sinks, counters, appliance exteriors, and floors may be part of the final clean. Interiors and newly installed equipment need clear inclusion and access arrangements.

At our Wantagh bank branch renovation, the work included painting, flooring, millwork, furniture, and cleaning. Our Wantagh cleaning and maintenance services cover renovation cleanup and recurring cleaning for offices, bank branches, and stores.

Plan rough cleaning, final cleaning, and touch-ups

Some projects need more than one visit. An earlier cleanup may prepare an area for the next stage, while final cleaning takes place after dusty work is complete. If contractors return afterward, touch-up cleaning may need to be scheduled again.

To schedule the final cleaning before your handover date, share the remaining work, expected completion dates, and whether parts of the building will stay occupied. Cleaning prepares the agreed areas; building inspections and occupancy approvals remain separate project responsibilities.
