Janitorial
Services
Serving Long Island, NYC, & the Tri-State Area for over 25 years

Clear View provides janitorial services across NYC and Long Island for offices, bank branches, retail stores, and other commercial buildings. Regular visits can cover floors, restrooms, shared kitchens, dusting, and trash and recycling removal, with daytime or nighttime cleaning scheduled around your business hours.

We schedule a walkthrough with new clients to review the rooms and agree on a task list. Together, we separate work needed each visit from periodic deep cleans and floor treatments, then confirm access and supply arrangements before service begins.

Our Janitorial Services

Cleaning for the rooms your team uses every day, with a schedule for the work needed less often.

Daily or Nightly Cleaning

Daytime service can cover restroom checks, spills, bins, and busy shared areas. After-hours visits allow time for vacuuming, mopping, and room cleaning. We plan the cleaning tasks and hours around how your building is used.

Floor Care

Routine care includes vacuuming carpets and mats, sweeping, and mopping hard floors. Carpet extraction, buffing, waxing, stripping, and sealing can be scheduled separately to suit the floor material and condition. We also offer SoftBank Whiz robotic vacuuming for suitable carpeted areas, with routes and timing planned around your room layout and staff hours.

Restroom Sanitization

We clean toilets, sinks, counters, mirrors, and restroom floors. The plan can also cover touchpoints, bins, and supply checks, with purchasing and restocking responsibilities agreed before service begins.

Trash and Recycling Management

We empty the agreed trash and recycling bins, replace liners, and clean the bin areas. Your building’s collection arrangements determine where waste is taken and when those areas can be accessed.

Special Projects and Deep Cleans

Periodic visits can address baseboards, corners, shelving, and other areas beyond the regular task list. Seasonal cleaning, post-event cleanup, and floor treatments are planned with their own tasks and access requirements.

Kitchen and Break Room Cleaning

We clean counters, sinks, tables, and appliance handles, along with floors and bins. Microwave and refrigerator interiors need separate instructions, including who will clear out stored food and personal items.

Our Approach
to Quality and Reliability

Customized Cleaning Plans

We walk through the property with you to review room use, floor surfaces, busy areas, and access. The cleaning plan sets out the recurring tasks, periodic work, and supply arrangements.

Room-by-room instructions

Before service begins, we agree which rooms and surfaces our team will clean. Entry instructions, restricted areas, and equipment that needs special care are recorded so the team knows how to work in your building.

Products suited to your surfaces

We review floor materials, finishes, and any product requirements before agreeing on the cleaning tasks. Where disinfection is included, the product must suit the surface and be used according to its label instructions.

CVBS was tasked with the overnight floor refinishing of Penn Station NJ Transit. We implemented a program for this facility that included a 3M Scotchgard™ Stone Floor Protector Program. This project included coordination to have representatives from 3M come to the facility and perform a demonstration for officials to review and approve beginning work.

Why Choose
Clear View Building Services?

Cleaning reports and feedback

When service begins, we identify your main contact and explain how to report feedback. Our inspection and reporting tools support checklists and records, with the reporting arrangements set for your building.

Access and handling instructions

Keys, alarms, locked rooms, and sensitive equipment need clear instructions. We review those details with you before the first visit, along with any surfaces or belongings that staff should clear for cleaning.

Plans for changing building use

A larger team, new opening hours, or more visitors can change the work your building needs. We review those changes with you and discuss adjustments to room tasks or visit frequency.

Tasks and pricing in writing

The quote sets out the rooms, recurring tasks, and visit frequency. We also clarify supply responsibilities and identify separately priced work, such as an initial deep clean or periodic floor treatment.

Frequently asked
Janitorial service questions

Which tasks belong in a regular janitorial plan?

A regular janitorial plan can include floor cleaning, restroom care, shared-surface cleaning, and trash removal. We agree which rooms need these tasks and how often:

  • Vacuuming carpets and mats, sweeping, and mopping hard floors.
  • Cleaning toilets, sinks, counters, mirrors, and restroom floors.
  • Wiping shared tables, door handles, switches, and other agreed surfaces.
  • Cleaning break room counters, sinks, and appliance exteriors.
  • Emptying trash and recycling, replacing liners, and keeping bin areas clean.

The plan should also identify supply restocking, periodic detailing, and any rooms with restricted access. Our complete janitorial service breakdown explains these tasks in more detail.

Should we choose daytime or nighttime cleaning?

Daytime cleaning is useful for spaces that need attention between visits: a restroom running low on supplies, a spill in the break room, or a busy lobby. Overnight cleaning gives the team longer access to desks, floors, and restrooms when fewer people are present.

A busy building may need both. We can divide the work so daytime staff attend to shared areas and the night team handles vacuuming, mopping, and more detailed cleaning. Compare the options in our day versus night janitorial guide.

Is deep cleaning part of the nightly routine?

Not automatically. The nightly task list usually concentrates on the areas used that day. A deeper clean may address baseboards, corners, high shelves, reachable vent covers, carpet buildup, or kitchen areas that need additional attention. Those tasks should be named in the plan so they do not depend on someone noticing a problem.

Carpet extraction and floor stripping, waxing, or sealing are periodic jobs with separate access and timing requirements. Our cleaning schedule guide explains how routine visits and less frequent work can fit together.

Are paper products and other supplies included?

That depends on your service agreement. We discuss paper products, soap, and liners when setting up the service. Restocking dispensers is a different responsibility from buying the products, so the quote should say who handles each. To prepare the team for restocking, we also review where supplies are stored and whether your building requires particular products.

Busy restrooms may need supply and bin checks during the day as well as a full clean after closing. We can include those checks in the proposed schedule. Our restroom cleaning article covers the areas that need regular attention.

What happens before the first janitorial cleaning visit?

We schedule a walkthrough with new clients to review the building and agree on the recurring tasks. Before the first visit, we work through the practical arrangements with you:

  1. Confirm entry instructions, restricted rooms, and your building contact.
  2. Identify waste collection points, supply storage, and any restocking duties.
  3. Confirm which desks or shared counters staff should clear and which equipment needs special instructions.

Any initial deep clean is listed separately from regular visits. Our first-visit guide explains those preparations. Request a janitorial cleaning quote with your building location and preferred hours.

How do we report a missed task or change the cleaning schedule?

You can report a missed task or request a schedule change through the main contact we identify when setting up service. If something needs attention, the room, task, and time help us review it against the agreed visit. Photos can help show a marked surface or an area that was missed.

Changes in staff numbers, opening hours, or visitor traffic can also affect the work. We review the task list with you before changing the schedule or adding visits. Our cleaning inspection and reporting tools support checklists and records; we discuss the reporting arrangements for your building when service begins.

Can robotic vacuuming be part of our janitorial service?

Absolutely. We offer SoftBank Whiz robotic vacuuming for suitable carpeted areas. During the walkthrough, we review the room layout, furniture, and access to determine where it fits.

To coordinate our cleaning schedule with your workday, we discuss when those areas are available. Restrooms, kitchens, bins, and other surfaces have their own tasks in the same cleaning plan. Read about Whiz robotic vacuuming, or request a janitorial cleaning quote for your building.

Which greater NYC areas do you cover for janitorial services?

Our janitorial service area covers New York City and Long Island, including Nassau and Suffolk counties. We have separate pages for NYC janitorial services and janitorial services on Long Island. To plan recurring service at your locations, we review each property address and its available cleaning hours with you.
